A Garden of Pride (Featured Garden Series)

Today I would like to share with you the beautiful garden of my close buddy, Rox. Like me, Rox is also an avid gardener. She plants flowers, herbs and also recently started planting vegetables organically. She has inspired me to start planting vegies in my garden. And you must see her Adenium and Bougainvillae!! Her thumbs are truly green ~ those blossoms would just make you go speechless!!

Rox' neat garden

Her glorious Red Adeniums are full with blooms

This Bougainvillae has 5 different coloured flowers.
I wish I can make my Bougainvillae blooms like hers.

Another pot of Bougainvillae

A very healthy looking Aloe Vera. Rox said the Aloe Vera is ready to be eaten when there is no longer any white spots on its stems. I love eating aloe vera boiled with dried longan and pandan leaves. It's a delicious dessert when served chilled!

Healthy basil that smells so sweet!

A beautiful daisy in bloom.

I love this plant that has been with the family for a long time. Can someone tell me the name of this plant?

A little bird dropped the seed of a bird's nest into the side hole of this pot. See the beautiful bird's nest!

A flower of the lady finger

A lady finger ready to be pluck soon?

Guess what plant is this?

If you have guessed radish, then you are right! Radish peeking from the ground!

The first time I saw radishes in Rox's garden, I was elated like a little child!
I was so happy to see the fruit of her hardwork!

A very good harvest! Rox gave us this to bring home!

So, what do you have to say about Rox's garden? Isn't it fun?

Lastly, I want to take this opportunity to wish all Buddhists in the world a Happy Wesak Day. Wesak Day is celebrated by Buddhists to celebrate the birth, enlightenment & passing away of Budda. To the rest, I wish you a lovely weekend with the family.

I love the color of those Adeniums. They are brighter than those I have at home. Mine is paler ... Lots of lovely plants at your friend's place.
