Blooming Marigold

Finally my Marigold has bloomed! This is the first plant that has produced blooms from the many Marigold seeds that I had sowed in April. Wow, it takes 4 months for a seed to mature into a plant that produces flowers. A long wait indeed but very worthwhile after all.

Oh, that's beautiful! I love marigolds. The packet of Marigold seeds I bought didn't sprout at all.

I use to buy marigold seeding from nursery but the dry seeds from the plants never germinate! May be it's genetically modified plant.... sigh....

Hi Malar,

I got my seeds from CETDEM's Organik Day. Recently I also collected some seeds from old Marigold plants that I saw in my hometown. If you are keen to try out, I can mail you some of these seeds.
