I was there about 9.30am with two friends. Fortunately we went there early. By 11.30am, the sky has turned dark and we rushed to our car before it started to drizzle.
Let's walk through the Organik Day event with these photos that I had taken.
CETDEM's stall.
My favourite stall was the one where seeds were sold. There were vof seeds, ranging from flowers to vegetables. This time around, I bought 2 packets of seeds, i.e. coriander and kangkung (water convolvulus).
A stall selling vermicompost brought some earthworms to share with the public on how vermicompost is being produced.
Stalls selling seedlings of various herbs.
Organic tea & teabags and preserves for sales.
Seaweed is also available for sale.
Waiting for our turn to go for the guided tour of CETDEM's organic garden.

I really wish to visit that Organik Day over in PJ, but we were caught with something else, relatives visiting from far.. Now there is a show in Putrajaya, another FLORA. I just popped in to see what happened.. Cheers ~ bangchik
The event looks successful JC. Everybody like busy looking for things to buy he he...
I am sure you found something for your garden as well. I saw some seedlings that I would be interested if I am there. Cheap?
It's interesting how they are selling those seeds. Oh, those Janda Baik people there too? Wow!
Have you heard about microbes? Anyone selling this there?
So many seeds and seedling!
hope your kangkung and coriander will grow plently of harvest!
This place in PJ is not familiar to me. The organic produce looks very healthy and green and the plants at the garden looks larger than normal. I wanted to try doing vermicomposting but the starter kit is quite expensive at > RM 300.
What a great organic day. The hours are rather short... only half a day. Wish I was there, but I'll end up buying more seeds and I got no space for them! I love your blog. Will visit again, that's for sure.
Steph, the seeds were cheap, priced at RM1-2 only.
Malar, thanks! I haven't sowed the seeds that I bought yet. Gotta find space for the kangkung. My vegetable bed is now full of chillies.
Autumn Belle, to reach this field where the event was held, just find out where the famous Paris Chinese Restaurant or Ah Tuan Ee Nyonya Restaurant. On this road, you will find signage leading to this place.
Steph, I didn't see anyone selling microbes.
Kitchenflavours, do pop by! Welcome your visit to my blog.
I visited one of the events but missed this one. A pity. It is good that it is regular as it raises the awareness for things organic:) Lovely pics to share.
